Approve before it reaches the media
For regulated or high-value labels, a print request can be routed to an approval inbox instead of going straight to the printer. The reviewer sees the template, the number of copies and who asked for it, then approves and signs. The approval is recorded against the print itself, so the sign-off and the label are not two separate stories.
Then prove it, months later
When a customer, an auditor or a recall asks which record produced this label, you search by order, batch or history identifier and read the answer off the screen: which design and revision, which device and printer, which operator, and when.
Print history keeps the per-job detail beside it, and the underlying audit records are hash-chained so a modified or deleted entry does not go unnoticed. The full explanation of that mechanism is on the label compliance software page.

Compliance requests without a developer
The compliance section answers the requests that otherwise turn into a ticket for engineering: pull every record tied to a user or an order, export a defined set of history entries, and see who accessed what. Personal data and the signed audit core are kept separate, so a deletion request can be honoured without breaking the integrity of the audit chain.
What it does not do
Being straight about the boundaries, because buying on a false impression helps nobody:
- Printing still happens locally. A machine with the LabelInn app must be reachable for the printer it drives. The dashboard controls and records; it is not a cloud print spooler that bypasses your network.
- Offline sites are eventually consistent. A machine that has been offline reports its history when it reconnects.
- Not a QMS or an ERP. It records what was labelled and proves it. It does not manage your batches, your stock or your deviations.
Who this is for
Companies where labelling is not one person at one printer: several sites or lines, more than one operator, and someone who eventually has to answer for what was printed — food and beverage, chemicals, pharma packaging, electronics, contract manufacturing and third-party logistics.
