Step by step

Everything the video says, in order.

In this video, you'll set up a TSC label printer, like the TE210, the TE244 or the TTP-244 Pro, in LabelInn, and see what happens when it goes offline.

Click Add printer. On the dashboard, click Add printer.

02 / 0:17

LabelInn searches for printers. LabelInn searches your network for printers. A networked TSC shows up here; click Connect.

03 / 0:24

USB: choose TSPL. Most TSC desktop printers are on USB. Click Add USB Printer Manually, pick your printer, and choose TSPL. That's TSC's own language, and Xprinter and Godex printers use it too.

04 / 0:37

Network: type the IP, then Connect. On a network? Click Add Manual IP Address, type the IP, and click Connect.

05 / 0:43

Darkness, speed, media, label size. In the printer settings, match the print method to what's loaded: direct thermal, or thermal transfer when a ribbon is in. Then set darkness, speed and the label size.

06 / 0:55

Feed, calibrate, test print. Changed the label roll? Calibrate, then send a test print.

07 / 1:00

Offline? The job waits for it. If a printer is switched off or unplugged, its card turns orange. Print jobs don't fail. They wait for the printer, and print when it's back.
