Everything the video says, in order.
In this video, you'll connect a Toshiba TEC label printer, like the B-EX4T, the B-EV4 or the BV400, to LabelInn and get it ready to print. You don't need the Windows driver.
Click Add printer. On the dashboard, under your printers, click Add printer.
LabelInn searches for printers. LabelInn starts searching your network. If your Toshiba is cabled to the same network, it shows up here, and you just click Connect.
Network: type the IP, then Connect. Not in the list? Click Add Manual IP Address and type the printer's IP address. LabelInn fills in port 9100. Leave the language on Auto-detect, or set it yourself, and click Connect.
USB: choose TPCL (Toshiba TEC). On USB, click Add USB Printer Manually, pick your printer, and choose TPCL, Toshiba TEC. LabelInn speaks the printer's own language directly, so there's no Windows driver to install.
Darkness, speed, media, label size. Tip: the resolution is in the model code. The first letter after the dash means 203 dpi for G, 305 for T, and 600 for H. In the printer settings, set darkness, speed, the print method and your label size. Pick thermal transfer only when a ribbon is loaded.
Feed, calibrate, test print. From the same screen you can feed a label, calibrate the sensor, and send a test print.
Your printer, next to all the others. That's it. Your Toshiba printers sit in the printer list next to every other printer, ready for your designs and workflows.
Your Toshiba is ready. Download LabelInn for free at labelinn.com.
