Print as usual. LabelInn knows which barcodes the job contained.

Scan Every Label, Know It Is the Right One
Scan each printed label and see a large green tick or red cross: LabelInn checks the barcode against what was supposed to print, logs every scan and can alert on failures.

THE PROBLEM
A label can print perfectly and still be wrong: the right format with the previous order's data, a swapped roll, a box that got the neighbour's label. The only way to know is to scan it and compare it with what should be there. Doing that by eye on a screen full of numbers does not survive a busy shift.
LabelInn's Verify Mode does the comparison and shows the answer large enough to see from the other side of the bench.

01 / VERIFICATION
How it works
Open Verify Mode. A full-screen view that listens to the scanner. A standard USB scanner works, because it types like a keyboard.
Scan each label. A large green tick means it matches what was expected; a red cross means it does not.
02 / SCANNING
What gets recorded
Every scan is logged with the time, whether it matched and the operator. Pass and fail counts are kept for the session, so "48 of 48 verified" is a fact, not a feeling.
03 / QUALITY
For machines, not just people
On automated lines a fixed scanner or a vision system can submit scans through LabelInn's local API, and the expected values can be set the same way. Pass/fail status and the scan log can be read back the same way. See PLC and MES integration.
QUESTIONS / FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I verify that the right label was printed?
Open Verify Mode in LabelInn and scan each label. It compares the scanned barcode with what the print job was supposed to contain and shows a large green or red result.
Do I need a special scanner?
No. A standard USB barcode scanner works; it types into LabelInn like a keyboard.
Are verification results stored?
Yes. Each scan is logged with the time, the match result and the operator, and pass and fail counts are kept.
