Step by step
Everything the video says, in order.
In this video, you'll connect a label printer to LabelInn, over the network or by USB, in about a minute.
Click Add printer. On the dashboard, under your printers, click Add printer.
LabelInn searches for printers. LabelInn starts searching your network for printers automatically. You don't need to know the IP address.
Found it → Connect. When your printer shows up, click Connect. Here it found a Zebra GK420d.
Not listed? Add Manual IP Address. Printer not in the list? You can add it yourself. For a network printer, click Add Manual IP Address.
Type the IP, port 9100, Connect. Type the printer's IP address. Port 9100 is the standard for most label printers. Leave the language on Auto-detect, or choose it yourself, and click Connect.
USB: pick the device and its language. For a USB printer, click Add USB Printer Manually, pick the device, and choose its command language: Zebra ZPL, TSPL for TSC, Xprinter and Godex, TPCL for Toshiba, or Epson ColorWorks.
Green and Ready = good to print. Your printer now shows up on the dashboard. Green and Ready means you're good to print.
Your printer is ready. Download LabelInn for free at labelinn.com.
