Print Shopify labels automatically: video tutorial

In this video, you'll print shipping labels and barcode labels straight from your Shopify orders and products, and set them to print on their own when an order comes in.

Select the orders to ship. Open LabelInn in your Shopify admin. On the Shipping labels tab, tick the orders you want to ship.

Label printer, or A4 and Letter sheets. On the right, choose the label, and print on a thermal label printer, or on A4 and Letter sheets. Pick the size, like 4 by 6 inches or 100 by 150 millimetres, and where you ship from.

Download a PDF, or send to the printer. Download the labels as a PDF, or send them straight to a printer connected through the LabelInn app. Here, three labels go to a Zebra ZD421 on the packing desk.

Product labels, barcodes checked. The Product labels tab makes barcode labels for your products. LabelInn checks every barcode first, and tells you when one has a wrong check digit, before a scanner rejects it.

Your own label designs. Under Label designs, start from a ready label, make a new one, or describe it and let AI draw it. Every field fills in from your Shopify orders and products.

Automations: start from a ready rule. Now make it automatic. On the Automations tab, start from a ready rule, like a shipping label for every paid order.

When, only if, then, else. Every rule reads like a sentence: when a new paid order arrives, print this label on this printer. Add conditions, extra labels, or a backup printer for when something goes wrong. Then test it with a real order, and save.

Labels print on their own. From now on, labels print by themselves as orders come in, and each rule shows when it last ran and what it printed.
