Why this is hard today
Brother ships P-touch Editor for Mac, but the macOS build has fewer features than the Windows one and the TD-series industrial printers are poorly served by it. Barcode types are limited, database binding is awkward, and anything beyond a simple text label pushes you back to Windows.

Emulation mode matters
